This year’s Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 mostly revealed games like the upcoming DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero, and guess what? One of the event’s major panels showcased Daima.
Fans of Dragon Ball should rejoice as a new trailer and more information about one of the year’s most anticipated anime, Dragon Ball Daima, is out. For the uninitiated, this anime was last announced officially on October 12, 2023 by Toei Animation at the New York Comic Con. Dragon Ball Daima is set for a Fall 2024 premiere and a new teaser will be released later this year.
The trailer, unveiled during the Dragon Ball Daima panel and presented by Dragon Ball executive producer Akio Toyuki, features the young lives of Goku and Vegeta, which fans did not expect. In the trailer, you can see young Goku eating and fighting off a bunch of monsters all at once. It is significant to note how young Goku flips and brawls with his monstrous enemies, a fresh addition to his movements.
After the trailer was unveiled, artwork of the characters in their younger forms was displayed. Designs for our very own young Goku, Krillin, Mr. Satan, Android 18, Chi-Chi, and Majin Buu were screened. Although artwork of the monsters was displayed, Toyuki was deliberately cagey about giving details about them, growing suspense further.
