Veteran actor Mohanlal has unveiled the first look of ‘Drishyam’ filmmaker Jeethu Joseph’s upcoming film ‘Nunakuzhi’ starring Basil Joseph and Grace Antony in the lead. The poster features the lead pair on the back seat of a police car looking a bit scared and confused.
‘Nunakuzhi’ is said to be a comedy drama following a young man caught in a web of lies and mistaken identities. Even the tagline of the film reads, “Liars Day Out”.
The film is written by KR Krishna Kumar and marks his third collaboration with Jeethu Joseph following ‘12th Man’ and ‘Kooman’. Also, cinematographer Satheesh Kurup and editor VS Vinayak are also coming together to work with Jeethu for the third time after ‘Kooman’ and upcoming Mohanlal starrer ‘Neru’.
‘Nunakuzhi’ stars actor-director Basil Joseph in the lead who is known for his directorial ventures ‘Kunjiramayanam’, ‘Godha’ and ‘Minnal Murali’. His acting credits include films like ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’, ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’, Varshangalkku Shesham’ and more.
Other cast members include Grace Antony, Swasika, Sidhique, Manoj K Jayan, Baiju Santhosh, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Binu Pappu, and Azees Nedumangad among others.
‘Nunakuzhi’ is produced by Saregama in association with Bedtime Stories and Yoodlee Films and will release in cinemas on 15th August, 2024.
