After wooing with his vintage romantic style in ‘Sita Ramam’ and serving some serious serial killer vibes in ‘Chup’, Dulquer Salmaan is all set to thrill the audience with his much awaited gangster drama ‘King of Kotha’ that has now successfully wrapped up a 95-days long schedule at Karaikudi.
‘King of Kotha’ is directed by Abhilash Joshiy and is described as an action gangster noir film set in a fictional town. The film is touted to be a full on massy entertainer with perfectly timed clap points, catchy songs and elevation sequences to satisfy the audience.
The film is written by Abhilash N. Chandran and other than Dulquer ‘King of Kotha’ stars Aishwarya Lakshmi as female lead and Shabeer Kallarakkal as the antagonist. Gokul Suresh, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sudhi Koppa, Nyla Usha and Shanthi Krishna are other cast members of the film.
Nimish Ravi handles cinematography for ‘King of Kotha’ while editing is done by Shyam Sasidharan. Film’s score is composed by Jakes Bejoy and the songs are composed by Jales Bejoy and Shaan Rehman separately.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films alongside Zee Studios, ‘King of Kotha’ will release in theatres on Onam 2023 (24th August, 2023) in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
