The Malayalam sports film, ‘Aaha‘ released in theatres, a week ahead of schedule on 19th November 2021. While the release has been relatively quiet, critics have been raving about Indrajith Sukumaran’s performance. The actor surpassed expectations and the film is slowly gaining traction within the state of Kerala. Still, not many know about ‘Aaha’s’ release, so Manorama Music has dropped a new single, “Kamban Kotti Keran“, an hour ago, let people know about its early release.
‘Aaha’ is a sports film set in two eras, which is based on tug of war. “Aaha” is the sound made by the tug of war participants while they pull the rope, which is highlighted quite a bit in the song. The song shows Indrajith Sukumaran as the coach of a newly formed tug of war as he “aahas” his team to victory. The song also shows various other tug of competitions as well.
As mentioned earlier, ‘Aaha’ is set during two different timelines. In the first timeline, Indrajith is a tug of war participant who is the captain of his team, which was one of the strongest tug of war teams in Kerala at the time, “Aaha Neeloor”, but a tragic incident made him quit the sport forever. However, decades later (second timeline), a group of individuals ask him to coach them. He doesn’t want anything to do with them at first but after a long deliberation, he decides to train them.
