Eiichiro Oda Gives Exciting New Updates On Netflix’s One Piece Season 2

One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda, who also serves as one of the chief consultants for the live-action Netflix adaptation, has given some exciting updates about the upcoming Season 2. According to some reports, the sophomore entry won’t be released until the original manga creator, Oda, approves. Additionally, the actors playing Vivi, Robin (in her Miss All Sunday identity), and Chopper will be unveiled individually over the next three days.

According to Oda’s latest announcement, places such as Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Drum Island, Loguetown, Whiskey Peak, and Little Garden will appear in Season 2 as well. Every place has a specific significance of its own. Do you want to know more about them? Keep scrolling down, then!

Monkey D. Luffy first encounters the formidable Smoker in Loguetown. It’s also where the legend of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, truly ignites in the protagonist’s untamable but pure heart. We will also see Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape) in Season 2. This island is shaped like two towering peaks, with a massive waterfall cascading between them. The Straw Hats will have to cross this dangerous waterway to reach the Grand Line.

The island of Whiskey Peak will consist of a group of seemingly friendly bounty hunters who actually plan to capture the Straw Hats. This part from the mangas also introduces the prominent Baroque Works organisations to the fans. Whereas the Little Garden island is home to Brogy and Dorry, to humongous warriors who have been fighting for many years. The Straw Hats must find a way to stop their fight.

The most notorious among all, Drum Island, is a snowy island that is seen in dire need of medical support and care, consequences of the tyrannical rule of Wapol. The Straw Hats meet Dr Kureha and her apprentice, Chopper, for the first ever here.

Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 is being made now and is expected to come out sometime in 2025, but only when the manga’s author, Eiichiro Oda, says it’s ready. Stay tuned for more updates.
