Celebrating the eight year anniversary of ‘Ek Villain’, the makers of its spiritual sequel ‘Ek Villain Returns’ have launched the teaser posters of the film’s lead cast. Helmed by Mohit Suri, who also directed the first part, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ will release in theatres on 29th July, 2022.
The teaser posters feature John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria holding the iconic yellow coloured smiling mask in their hands and partially covering their faces with it. While everyone else’s mask has round eyes, Tara’s has star shaped ones. Also, the tagline ‘Heroes Don’t Exist’ adds that extra thrill to the already nefarious avatars of the lead cast.
‘Ek Villain Returns’ is touted to be a dark and intense sequel to the 2014 action-thriller box office hit ‘Ek Villain’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Aamna Sharif. The film is said to be filled with high octane action sequences along with major twists in the plot.
Directed by Mohit Suri known for his films like ‘Murder 2,’ ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Awarapan’, ‘Malang’ and more, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ was earlier scheduled to release on 8th July, 2022 which was later changed to 29th July, 2022.
Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor through Balaji Motion Pictures and Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar through T-Series have jointly produced ‘Ek Villain Returns’.
