Netflix has brought in ‘Bones’ fame Emily Deschanel to lead star in its upcoming thriller series ‘Devil In Ohio’. Based on the eponymous book by Daria Polatin, who is also adapting her book for the screen, ‘Devil In Ohio’ is inspired by a true story.
‘Devil In Ohio’ is the story of a hospital psychiatrist Dr. Suzanne Mathis who shelters a mysterious cult escapee, turning her world upside down and threatening to tear her whole family apart.

Other than Emily, ‘Devil In Ohio’ also stars Sam Jaeger as Peter, Gerardo Celasco as Detective Lopez, Madeleine Arthur as Mae, Xaria Dotson as Jules, Alisha Newton as Helen, and Naomi Tan as Dani.
A limited Netflix series ‘Devil In Ohio’ is show run by Polatin who has executive produced it alongside Rachel Miller of Haven Entertainment and Andrew Wilder. The directors for the series are Fawcett, Brad Anderson, Leslie Hope, and Steve Adelson. Ian Hay serves as producer for the series.
‘Devil In Ohio’ will consist of eight 45-minutes episodes and is currently under production in Vancouver. Further details about the release date of the series are yet to able announced by Netflix.
Emily Deschanel is known for her role as forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan in Fox’s crime procedural comedy-drama ‘Bones’. Daria Polatin, on the other hand, has served as co-executive producer for Stephen King’s ‘Castle Rock’, ‘Hunters’, wrote and produced two seasons of Amazon’s ‘Jack Ryan’ and Hulu’s ‘Shut Eye’.
