Emma Corrin & Harry Styles Set To Star In Amazon’s ‘My Policeman’

Having wooed everyone with her role as Princess Diana in Netflix’s ‘The Crown’, for which she also received Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations, Emma Corrin is all set to star alongside Harry Styles (‘Dunkirk’) in Amazon’s ‘My Policeman’.

Based on the eponymous novel by Bethan Roberts, ‘My Policeman’ will be a romantic drama set in the late 1990s. The story is about how the entry of an ‘invalid elderly’ named Patrick, into Marion (Corrin) and Tom’s (Styles) home, results in the reignition of a 40 year old ‘passionate relationship’ between Tom and Patrick, at a time when homosexuality was illegal.

Corrin will be replacing Lily James, who was earlier in talks for the role of Marion when the film was first announced. Michael Grandage, Tony and Olivier award winner, will direct ‘My Policeman’ from an adapted screenplay by Oscar and Emmy nominee Ron Nyswaner.

Amazon‘s ‘My Policeman’ will be produced by Greg Berlanti, Robbie Rogers and Sarah Schechter of Berlanti-Schechter Films, in association with Cora Palfrey and Phillip Herd at Independent Film Company and MGC.
