Emraan Hashmi has always been an actor who has called a spade a spade in an industry that’s more popular for its diplomacy. He will next be seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-produced Netflix series Bard of Blood, in which he essays the role of RAW agent Kabir Anand.
In an interview with a portal about the series, the Awaarapan actor has told that any actor who’s telling they are very secure in Bollywood is precisely lying. He says it’s tough for an actor to be on his/her toes in an industry that produces newer talents every day and one where an actor is always unsure of where the next opportunity would come from.
Emraan finds the digital medium has emerged a boon for him and also admits to having done films in the past to merely keep his house running. The actor reportedly read the book before he took up his Netflix series and felt that getting into the role of Kabir Anand was a difficult process. The series that also features Viineet Kumar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kirti Kulhari and Rajit Kapoor will premiere on Netflix on September 27.
