While no response from any of the officials didn’t helped in this matter and people were starting to speculate that Master might arrive on some OTT platform like any other big star movie nowadays. Similarly in Telugu Industry the upcoming Nithin starrer Rang De’s release was a debatable topic from many weeks. But now the makers of both the film had a chance to interact with the media and put forward their views.
Master’s director Lokesh Kanagaraj, recently attended a charity function which was organized by Vijay’s fans in Coimbatore. After that he addressed the media and unsurprisingly the question came regarding the release of Master. Apart from Vijay, Master also stars – Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Arjun Das in crucial roles.
He also added that ” I have been in touch with several other people who are in talks with the government regarding the reopening of the movie theatres. I think and believe that if government does not decide to open the silver screens soon enough, thousands of people’s livelihood will be at stake”.
On the other hand Nithin starrer Telugu movie Rang De was in reports which claimed that Zee Entertainment has bagged the rights of the film’s digital release and the movie might arrive on Zee’s pay per view model ZeePlex. While no official confirmation regarding the same arrived from anywhere, until today when the Rang De team officially resumed their shooting of the film while managing all the precautions in Hyderabad.
Sithara Entertainments, the production company for the film announced the commencement of their shooting which the makers are planning to wrap up by mid October.
