Eros Now has started the year off in stellar fashion as they have lived up to their promise of making 2021 a big year for them as they have been announcing title after title and the audiences are definitely pumped up. Switchh is an Eros Now original film. This heist thriller is part of Eros Now’s ever-growing reservoir of original titles.
Eros Now’s Switchh stars Vikrant Massey, Naren Kumar, Madhu Sneha, Veer Aryan, Niten Mirani, and Tanvi Vyas in important roles. It is directed by Mustufa Raj. It is being produced by Harish Purswani, Ashwini Sehdev, and Nine Hopes productions.
Switchh is a thriller wherein Vikrant Massey along with some of his buddies tries to pull off one of the most audacious heists ever recorded (I mean doesn’t every film claim that after all). For this purpose, he sends one of his own people to get close to the target but things start to change when tensions arise in their alliance and the con artists are ultimately put to the ropes and have to figure out a way to wriggle out of the corner.
There have been many heist thrillers that have been attempted in the past and while they may be pretty formulaic getting the audience hooked with its twists and turns is one of the toughest parts that have to be established by any title which is remotely close to this genre.
While Switchh may have some really talented performers essaying essential roles let us hope that the screenplay and direction live up to it. Switchh will stream on Eros Now on 21st March.
