Excitement Guaranteed! What’s New In Hit Israeli Series Fauda S4?

Israeli actor Lior Raz announced what die-hard fans of spy thrillers have been waiting for since long – a new season of hit Israeli series, ‘Fauda’! While many thought that Fauda Season 3 was the last season of the spy drama, fans of the show were pleasantly surprised when co-creator and star of the show Liar Raz revealed the first teaser for Fauda Season 4 last night.

The Fauda Season 4 teaser indicates that there’s a lot that’s new and to look forward to for Fauda fans. For one, the elite Israeli intelligence team, led by Doron (Lior Raz), will face two-pronged trouble from rogue elements – Hezbollah activists from Lebanon and Palestinian militants in the West Bank. The action in Fauda Season 2 will span areas across Lebanon, Jenin in the West Bank, Brussels and the Israeli city of Ramla.

Not just on the action side, the teaser of Fauda also hints that the new season of the show will be grander than all the previous three seasons put together. Season 4 has been conceived on an international scale, given its sizeable global popularity in recent times.

Fauda Season 4 will see several new faces in the cast, including Inbar Lavi (Lucifer) Mark Ivanir (Barry, Away), Amir Boutrous (The Crown), Lucy Ayoub (popular TV presenter) and Loai Noufi (Hashoter Hatov, Tyrant). Returning cast members include Itzik Cohen, Rona-Lee Shimon, Idan Amedi, Doron Ben David, Yaacov Zada Daniel and Meirav Shirom.

Fauda is produced by Yes Studios. Fauda Season 4 began production in November 2021, and is slated to premiere on Yes TV in Israel sometime in the middle of 2022. The show streams internationally on Netflix. It is unclear whether Fauda Season 4 will premiere on Netflix at the same time as its Israeli debut on Yes TV, or a few weeks later. Fauda S4 will have ten episodes.

Fauda is the co-creation of Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff. The duo drew upon their own experiences in the Israeli army to create a narrative that is engaging, gripping and rooted in realism. Fauda is co-produced by Liat Benasuly and Yes TV, written by Noah Stollman, and directed by Omri Givon.
