3) Schitt’s Creek (Netflix, 6 seasons) – created by ‘Dan Levy’ and ‘Eugene Levy’ (American Pie) tells a story of rich video store magnate Johnny Rose (‘Eugene Levy’) and family of Moira Rose (‘Catherine O’Hara’), David Rose (‘Dan Levy’) and Alexis Rose (‘Annie Murphy’) go broke they are forced to shift to a small town ‘Schitt’s Creek’. This heart-warming show will be of a good company in such times.

4) Homeland (Disney+ Hotstar, 8 seasons) – The thrilling spy and action story that shined on the small screen came to its last run this year. Developed by ‘Howard Gordon’ (Legends) and ‘Alex Gansa’ tells the story of Carrie Mathison (‘Claire Danes’) a CIA operative is on the hunt for an American prisoner who may have joined Al- Qaeda. It is based on the Israeli series ‘Prisoners of War’.

5) Bojack Horseman (Netflix, 6 seasons) – created by ‘Raphael Bob – Waksberg’ (Undone) tells an animated story of a humanoid horse Bojack (‘Will Arnett’) who was the star of a hit TV show ‘Horsin’ Around’ in the 80’s and 90’s but now he is lost, lives in self loathing, complains about everything and also wears colourful sweaters.

6) Modern Family (Disney+ Hotstar, 11 seasons) – created by ‘Christopher Lloyd’ and ‘Steven Levitan’ told the story of three Dunphy families living in California and all the chaos they create in comedic ways. From overprotective fathers, crazy mothers, grumpy grandparents, over the top uncles to crazy teenagers, this show gave a universal and relatable family for 11 years.

7) Supernatural (Amazon Prime, 15 seasons) – the dark fantasy American TV series which premiered first in 2005 tells the story of two brothers, Dean Winchester (‘Jensen Ackles’) and Sam Winchester (‘Jared Padelecki’) who follows their father’s footsteps in order to hunt monsters, demons, ghosts and various supernatural beings that exist on Earth.
