Exclusive: Huma Qureshi Shares Experience Of Working On Army of the Dead

Huma Qureshi arrived on the scene as part of the ensemble cast classic dualogy, Gangs of Wasseypur. Since then, she has not looked back and has been part of many acclaimed movies.

One thing led to other and Huma Qureshi has finally got a call from Hollywood. She is part of the upcoming Zombie thriller made by Zack Snyder. The actress recalls working experience on the movie to Binged.com and says, “After working with celebrated Indian filmmakers from the West like Gurinder Chadda (The Viceroy Hotel) and Deepa Mehta (Leila), it felt like a natural progression to work on a Hollywood production”.

Huma Qureshi further adds that the approach of Zack Snyder was refreshing and one who treats everyone equal. She says,

“I had this macho image of Zack due to the kind of work he has done, but after working with him I feel like he is an equalist. Many of the crew members were women. It was a refreshing experience to work in an environment that provides equal opportunity to women”.

The shooting of Army of the Dead is complete. Currently, the post-production work is going on. The zombie thriller will stream on Netflix in mostly the first half of 2020. Dave Bautista heads the movie.
