Finally it’s out. The hit web-series Aarya that saw the comeback of the Sushmita Sen finally seems to have confirmed that there will be a season 2 for the show. There was lots of confusion whether the show will continue or not and especially since it left us with a cliffhanger at the end of Season 1. The shoot for the web-series has now begun and this season will see Sushmit Sen back in action along with Ram Madhvani as the showrunner and the director.
Before all this, there was a certain news doing rounds that stated Sushmita Sen was demanding a price hike for Season 2. This came after the season 1 of the show ended up being a superhit for not only Sen but also for the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. This was under a lot of question as Disney+ Hotstar was looking forward to cutting down costs due to various ongoing issues in the company itself.
Now it seems like things have worked out between the makers, Sushmita Sen and the officials from the streaming platform. There has been no official date yet as to when the season will be out, or who else will be appearing on the show besides Sushmita Sen, or will there be entry of newer characters, everything is a question now, but we believe things will be revealed soon, as the shoot gets on the track.
The season one of Aarya has been one amazing season and Sushmita Sen rightly showed the world that no one except her can be the hero in this series. Her aura perfectly matched with the content of the show. Now, it will be interesting to see how Season 2 begins, whether it will be starting off from where the first season ended, or the audience will see something different. We will have to wait.
