The tease for Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Jigarthadna Double X’ is here and its one action packed explosion. Set to release on Diwali 2023, ‘Jigarthadna Double X’ is a standalone sequel to 2014 film ‘Jigarthanda’ which was also helmed by Karthik Subbaraj.
Set in 1975, ‘Jigarthadna Double X’ follows a filmmaker and a dreaded gangster who team up to make a western film. The whole teaser is full of bang on action sequences and has a vintage vibe to it.
Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, ‘Jigarthadna Double X’ is a period action comedy drama starring SJ Suryah as the filmmaker and Raghav Lawrence as the gangster. The film also stars Nimisha Sajayan.
Santhosh Narayan has composed the music for ‘Jigarthadna Double X’ with cinematography by S. Thirunavukksarasu and editing from Shafique Mohamed Ali. Produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam via Stone Bench Films and S. Kathiresan through Five Star Creations, ‘Jigarthadna Double X’ will release in cinemas in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on Diwali 2023.
