The first teaser for Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming movie ‘Aavesham’ is out, along with a release date. ‘Aavesham’ premieres in theatres across India on 11th April, 2024, as an Eid release.
The teaser for Aavesham is edgy and wild, just like its protagonist. Fahadh Faasil plays a local gangster with a penchant for machismo. Aavesham is written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, whose debut movie Romancham became a sleeper hit last year. Interestingly, Aavesham is set in the same universe as Romancham, and a spinoff of sorts of that movie.
Fahadh Faasil plays local goon Ranga, who is hired by a bunch of college students to take care of a “problem” for them. Just like Romancham, Aavesham is heavily inspired by real-life incidents revolving around college students. Sajin Gopu, known for his role as Niroop in ‘Romancham, plays a pivotal role in Aavesham.
Aavesham also features Mansoor Ali Khan and Ashish Vidyarthi as primary antagonists, along with Chemban Vinod as a key character. The movie is produced by Anwar Rasheed, under his banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. Aavesham is co-produced by Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, under their production banner, Fahadh Faasil and Friends.
