Another big thing is about to happen in the Malayalam film industry. The dream combination of Fahadh Faasil and director Jeethu Joseph is no more a wait. They are joining hands to present a concept based on legal issues in a captivating way.
The director of the ‘Drishyam’ franchise, who is about to announce its third installment during the gap of its script work conceived several super hits like ’12th Man’, ‘Kooman’, etc. ‘Nunakuzhi’, a recent movie based on the humor genre is still running great in theatres. Jeethu had previously done a movie called ‘Neru’ in 2023 which was a court drama with Actor Mohanlal. This was very well appreciated for its brilliant direction and screenplay.
The genre for this upcoming movie will be that of a legal thriller, which is expected to be like that of a John Grisham-type fiction. The character of Fahadh is uncertain, but if he is playing as a Legal professional like an advocate or lawyer, this would be his first time in the role and will be worth waiting. The screenplay for the flick will be penned by Shanti Mayadevi, who herself is an Advocate and had co-written the script for Neru. This is her second work.
A plethora of facts and opinions can arise based on the previous filmography of the director, some examples being the Drishyam and Kooman reference, the Co-relation of Vinayachandran which is the character name played by Mohanlal and Fahadh’s character, and so on. Also, the movie is claimed to be based on true events.
The flick is going to be produced by A V Anoop, C V Sarathi, and Mukesh R Mehta for E4 Entertainment Productions. The dates are to be announced soon by the crew.
