Faissal Khan, who is blessed with the same good looks as his brother and eminent actor Aamir Khan, had earlier today unveiled the first look of his forthcoming film ‘Faactory’. The film has been directed and co-written by Faissal himself and also serves as his much-awaited acting comeback. The film is reportedly a romantic thriller that will also feature Roaleey Ryan, Rajkumar Kanojia, and Ribbhu Mehra.
‘Faactory’ is Faissal Khan’s directorial debut and moreover, the talented actor has also sung a romantic song in the film, which would be another first for him. A major part of the film has reportedly been shot in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The film’s shoot was wrapped up more than a year back, however, its release was ostensibly delayed because of the pandemic.
Previously, Faissal Khan had served as an assistant director in the cult film ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ besides ‘Tum Mere Ho’, both films featuring Aamir Khan in the lead roles. Subsequently, the actor made his feature film debut as a lead actor in the 1994 movie ‘Madhosh’, which was directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Faissal Khan’s father Tahir Hussain. Then, after a 5-year gap, Faissal Khan made his acting comeback in ‘Mela’ which co-starred Aamir Khan and Twinkle Khanna, in the lead roles besides Faissal Khan. The actor was last seen in the romantic film ‘Chinar Daastaan-E-Ishq’ in the year 2015.
All eyes are now on his upcoming film ‘Faactory’ that has the tagline ‘Everything is fair in love and war’, and the film is expected to release in theatres on September 3, 2021. ‘Faactory’ may just be the smashing comeback film that Faissal Khan might be hoping for. The movie has been produced by M & S Films Production, Entertainment Films LLP, Flamingo Films, and Gauri Films.
