Farhan Akhtar has announced the next film produced by Excel Entertainment, the film production house he runs with Ritesh Sidhwani. Titled ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, the film is co-produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, under their own production banner, Tiger Baby Films.
Farhan Akhtar also unveiled the first look poster of ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan‘, which reveals the lead cast of the film, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav. The three young and talented actors seem to be thick buddies, and can be seen sitting on a couch in chill-out mode. Adarsh Gourav’s character is doing the honours of clicking a selfie of the cool threesome.
Going by the tagline shared by Farhan Akhtar along with the film’s first poster, it comes across as a storyline that centres on the increasingly social media driven, and hence increasingly isolated, world that today’s youngsters inhabit. He wrote on his Twitter, “Find your Friends and you won’t need followers📱
#KhoGayeHumKahan”
The tagline, along with the accompanying mobile phone emoji clearly indicates the above.

Debutant director Arjun Varain Singh will direct Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, out of a screenplay written by him, along with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
Farhan Akhtar has also released a short teaser video, announcing ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’. The video is set to the whimsical song, ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ from Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif’s film, Baar Baar Dekho. That film is also an Excel Entertainment production, hence using the song for the promotional video of its titular film is obviously not an issue. The video shows the charming trio of Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav simply goofing around, as close friends do.
