Daniela Melchior is the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming Fast & Furious 10. Daniela Melchior was last seen in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. She played the role of Ratcatcher 2.
This news follows the addition of Jason Momoa to the cast of the movie. Along with star Vin Diesel, series regulars Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Sung Kang all are expected to return. Justin Lin returns as director for the upcoming installment. Lin has directed five movies of the F&F franchise.
Daniela Melchior is also set to appear in Assassins Club which is expected to release later this year. The Suicide Squad was her first English Language movie after she started her career in 2014 with Portuguese film and TV. She also provided the Portuguese voice for Spider-Gwen / Gwen Stacy, in Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Apart from Assassins Club and now Fast & Furious 10, she is also set to star in another upcoming thriller – Marlowe – alongside Liam Neeson. Marlowe is expected to release in 2023.
Ploy and other details for F&F10 are kept under wraps. The movie is scheduled to release on May 19, 2023. The first film in the franchise was released in 2001 with the latest movie – F9 – releasing last year.
The upcoming movie is the first chapter of the series’ two-part finale. The second part, which will be the final movie in the franchise, will also be directed by Justin Lin. Fans expect the franchise to go out with a bang with the expectation of the finale to be bigger than ever. With casting of new actors well underway, the movie seems on track for the scheduled 2023 release.
