The new trailer of F9 aka Fast & Furious 9 has just been dropped and we are in a crazy hangover after watching it. I mean how can they even come up with such out-of-the-box ideas to execute such a film? But nevertheless, the trailer is just jaw-dropping.
We have already learnt from the first trailer of F9 that Diesel’s Dom is going to face his villainous brother Jakob, portrayed by John Cena and they are bringing the character of Han somehow back from the dead in this movie.
This F9 trailer is an ultimate montage of over-the-top action and dialogues which Fast franchise is known for. We see cars, jets, even tankers get blown up and the way those sequences are showcased, are breathtaking.
This second F9 trailer features Charlize Therone and Helen Mirren too. Mirren will reprise the role of the mother of Dom’s former enemy Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham in Fast & Furious Spin-off Hobbs & Shaw.
The trailer relies heavily upon the stunts and action set pieces but it also has sudden surprises such as Paul Walker’s character chilling out with the group. After Paul’s demise, it will yet again be Interesting to see how the franchise brings back the beloved character of Bryan O’Connor, portrayed by Walker.
Apart from the inclusion of Diesel, Cena, Kang, Theron & Mirren, film stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster & Nathalie Emmanuel. F9 will also feature American rapper Cardi B as a new character Leysa, a woman with a connection to Dom’s past.
F9 hits the theatre on 26th June as confirmed by the makers. But we are sure that with the ending sequence of the trailer, where the team panickingly screams & heads for space, the fans will just look to find an excuse to watch this massive madness in theatres as quickly as possible.
