Political and espionage thriller ‘Fauda‘ has consistently been counted among the best TV shows of the decade by major and reputed publications. The Israeli TV series streams on Netflix, and is certainly one of its marquee shows. Two seasons of Fauda have been released until now, and both were extremely well-received by both critics and viewers.
Now Season 3 of Fauda is poised to premiere on Netflix. This morning, the streaming giant announced the premiere date for Fauda Season 3, and it is 16th April. Season 3 is already underway on Israeli TV channel ‘Yes’. It opened to a rousing response in Israel, raking in one million views in 48 hours of release. Season 3 also has 12 episodes, like the previous two seasons. Netflix will release all 12 episodes together for streaming.
Fauda is a bilingual series in Hebrew and Arabic, with English subtitles. Its creators, Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, drew upon their own experiences in the Israeli army, to write a narrative that is engaging, gripping and rooted in realism. The series follows an undercover Israeli agent, as he takes on terrorists in some of the most dangerous regions of the world – the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The narrative humanises the Israel-Palestine conflict without ever taking sides.
Fauda Season 3 arrives on Netflix on 16th April.
