We all know that Israeli series are extremely popular all around the globe. Needless to say, so are their adaptations. Euphoria is a classic example where its American adaptation came out to be one of the most-watched series of all time.
Regardless, we are talking about Fauda here. The Israeli series is based on the political scenario of Israel and Palestine. When Applause Entertainment and SonyLIV decided to bring the series to India, they chose the setting of Kashmir where Pakistan keeps claiming their right.
Tanaav came out to be successful not only in terms of critical appreciation but also in terms of views.
Needless to say, Fauda creators know how to create an engaging story. Thus, we have news about that.
The makers of Fauda are certainly developing an Indian show. If you are aware, IFFI is going on in Goa. Executive producers of Fauda Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff confirmed this themselves.
“We are working on a kind of an Indian story, that we cannot talk about too much. As a content production company, we understand the potential of collaborating with Indian creators, producers, and talents, because the size of the Indian market is huge and there is a lot of potential here” stated Avi Issacharoff.
Thus it is exciting to know that International showrunners are developing Indian stories. Maybe it would open a gateway to more International filmmakers. Stay tuned to Binged for more updates.
