The trailer for Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed starrer ‘Barzakh’ is here and it’s just magnificent, beautiful and out of this world quite literally. Helmed by Asim Abbasi, ‘Barazakh’ will premiere on 19th July on Zindagi’s YouTube channel and on Zee5 Global.
In the trailer a reclusive 76 year old man invites his children and grandchildren to a resort he runs in a remote valley. He has gathered them there to celebrate his life’s grand finale – a wedding with the ghost of his first true love.
While it’s not easy for others to believe it, the old man has all his hopes pinning on meeting the woman he loves most dearly. He longs for her more than anything. There are emotional confrontations as nobody on the family knows how to react to such a situation. “When all has withered, will love endure?”, is the question the series raises at the end.
There are shots that intrigue and create a supernatural feel. The aura that the trailer creates, it’s just ethereal. The aesthetic landscapes in which its set gives that perfect spiritual feel. Exploring various themes of love and folklore, the trailer is very captivating and shows what a fantastic series ‘Barzakh’ is going to be, truly a masterpiece.
