Federer: Twelve Final days: Prime Documentary Sets Awesome Trailer!

The official trailer for ‘Federer: Twelve Final Days’ is out now. The documentary will be the story of the tennis legend Federer’s Final days inside his beloved tennis court. It is a Prime Video original and will be coming out on the 20th of June. Before that, it will be premiering in the Tribeca Film Festival on June 10.

The documentary is directed by filmmaker duo Asif Kapadia and Joe Sabia. Asif Kapadia is known for directing wonderful movies like ‘The Warrior’, ‘The Return’ and ‘Amy’. He has also backed some popular sports documentaries: he executive produced ‘Ronaldo’ and directed ‘Diego Maradona’. The Maradona documentary was praised by critics and audiences and hopefully Kapadia will recreate his success with ‘Federer’.

Federer will be documenting the Final Twelve days in the 2022 Laver cup where the tennis legend played for team Europe. Players like Casper Ruud, Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Matteo Berrettini, Björn Borg and Cameron Norrie joined him in the team. The emotional responses and genuine interactions with team members were recorded by the filmmakers who initially didn’t think of making a documentary out of it. The trailer looks thrilling and emotional at the same time, and if you are a sports lover, you should not miss this one.
