Festival Fav ‘Stolen’ Heads To Prime Video

‘Stolen’, a nail biting thriller directed be Karan Tejpal in his feature film debut, premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2023 and went on to win numerous accolades at various film festivals around the globe. Whether it was Zurich Film Festival, BFI London Fest, Japan’s Skip City International D-Cinema Festival or Beijing International Film Festival, ‘Stolen’ got praise all across.

The thriller drama backed by well known names from the industry like Anurag Kashyap, Kiran Rao, Nikkhil Advani and Vikramditya Motwane is now headed to Prime Video where it will start streaming from 4th June, 2025. ‘Stolen’ is produced by Gaurav Dhingra for Jungle Book Studio.

‘Stolen’ is touted to be a gripping action thriller set against a stark, rugged landscape in the hinterlands of India. The story follows Gautam (Abhishek Banerjee) in the early hours of the morning at a railway station, where he has come to pick up his brother Raman (Shubham) for a lavish wedding. But their plans unravel when they meet Jhumpa (Mia Maelzer) a frantic mother searching for her kidnapped baby. Raman insists on helping, while Gautam wants no part of it. Then, a case of mistaken identity pulls them into a deadly chase, where their lives hang in the balance.

The teaser launched by Prime Video for ‘Stolen’ grips from the start and takes you into a world that is bound to give you chills. There’s adrenaline fueling action and edge of the seat chase sequences all packed into one taut thriller. This one looks amazingly promising and is a great pick from the streamer indeed.

‘Stolen’ stars Abhishek Banerjee, Harish Khanna, Mia Maelzer, Sahidur Rahaman and Shubham Vardhan in lead roles. Tejpal has co-written the screenplay alongside Swapnil Salkar-Agadbumb and producer Dhingra. ‘Stolen’ will be available to stream on Prime Video from 4th June, 2025.
