Another film about the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is announced and it will be reaching our theatres soon!
The film titled ‘Har Har Mahadev’ is an historical film based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the most celebrated ruler in Maharashtra. It is helmed by renowned filmmaker Abhijeet Deshpande, known for Hindi and Marathi films like ‘Antim: The Final Truth’, ‘Wazir’, ‘Natsamraat’, and more.
A new teaser of this film was released today and it looks beyond fantastic. This dialogue from the teaser is likely to leave you with goosebumps, “The mighty Sahyadris will soar & rise; conquering boundaries the sun shall shine; to achieve absolute freedom, this is the war cry of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj HAR HAR MAHADEV!” *goosebumps*
There’s more! The dialogues in the teaser released earlier have been voiced by politician Raj Thackeray. ‘Har Har Mahadev’ is backed by Zee Studios. If the movie releases on OTT after its theatrical release, it is likely to come on Zee5.
This movie will just not release in Marathi language but also four other languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. This idea of making the movie available in 5 different languages is a great move by the makers. If we see the latest trend, a number of regional movies that have been released in multiple languages have been successful in reaching a wider audience, leading towards becoming a commercial success. The fact that ‘Har Har Mahadev’ is about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, it is safe to say that it will reach great heights. The film is scheduled for a Diwali 2022 release.
