Filmmaking Decoded: All the Things That Go Into Making A Blockbuster Movie

‘Jio Mami Film Festival’ took a wonderful initiative using their broad base of resources during the pandemic which is to organise an online film discussion ‘knowledge series’ by the name of ‘Dial M for Films’ includes various directors, producers, actors, writers, etc. It is curated by artistic director ‘Smriti Kiran’.

The discussions aim to give an abundance of knowledge for film buffs who are interested in learning more of the behind the scenes and can benefit from such avenues in this lockdown.

Participation is free of cost and once you’re registered to Jio Mami Fest, all you have to do is fill a form to a session of your choice and the seat to a class filled with engaging, exciting and passionate discussions about cinema is yours.

The great thing is that these sessions are uploaded on their YouTube channel for you to revisit or absorb again as much as you want.

The previous sessions have members like ‘Ruchi Narain’, ‘Zoya Akhtar’ and ‘Reema Kagti’, ‘Bejoy Nambiar’, ‘Shakun Batra’, ‘Kabir Khan’, ‘Vasan Bala’, ‘Parvathy Thiruvothu’ and ‘Shweta Venkat Mathew’.

Jio Mami website recently released upcoming July and August calendar that include ‘Taapsee Pannu’, ‘Juhi Chaturvedi’, ‘Vishal Bhardwaj’, ‘Abhishek Chaubey’, ‘Sayani Gupta’, ‘Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’, ‘Prerna Saigal’ and ‘Sheetal Menon’.
