The film received average reviews from audiences, and did decent business at the box office. ‘Thank God’ began streaming on the Prime Video Rental Store on rent, after around six weeks of its theatrical release.

Well, now their questions have been answered. The comedy drama is now streaming for all subscribers on Prime Video India, as part of normal subscription, that is SVOD. The film arrived on SVOD after eight weeks of its theatrical release, in keeping with the current diktat of the Hindi film industry, which mandates that all Hindi films can only premiere on OTT after eight weeks of their release in theatres.

‘Thank God’ centres on a bad-tempered, egoistic real-estate broker (Sidharth Malhotra), who meets with an accident and wakes up in heaven. In heaven, he’s confronted with Chitragupta (Ajay Devgn), who makes him play the ‘Game Of Life’ that will decide his ultimate fate.
