Perhaps the most awaited English film on Disney+Hotstar is Prey currently. The movie is a prequel to the cult classic Predator film series. After decades of extending the film series, American streaming giant Hulu made an original prequel film which was released just a few weeks back.
Since then, the movie got immense appreciation from the audience and critics as the movie got rave reviews. In fact, the movie became the most watched film or series on Hulu. It is a great thing that it surpassed the celebrated Hulu series “Only Murders In The Building” which is also, extremely popular.
It stars Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Michelle Thrush, Stormee Kipp, Julian Black Antelope, Bennett Taylor, and Dane DiLiegro in the lead role.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the film was always set to release on Disney+Hotstar. Even after many requests, the streaming giant was not delivering any specific release date but now we have it.
Disney+Hotstar has confirmed that the film will start streaming on the platform from 7th October onwards.
The film premiered on Hulu on 5th August so it is almost a delay of 2 months but the film is coming nonetheless. The Predator series is popular amongst the Indian masses too and watching Prey will be a cinematic treat to the audience nonetheless.
