After making digital audiences wait for months, Hindi film ‘Farrey’ will finally premiere on OTT soon. The well-received Hindi movie will release on streaming on ZEE5, as soon as 5th April, 2024. Interestingly, Farrey was to release on ZEE5 in February 2024 itself, but was delayed for undisclosed reasons.
Farrey hit theatres way back in November 2023. The movie received above average reviews from critics and audiences. Most people loved the treatment given to the otherwise common place story. Farrey marked the movie debut of Alizeh Agnihotri, Salman Khan’s niece, daughter of his sister Alvira Agnihotri with husband, former actor, Atul Agnihotri.
Film lovers have long been waiting for the Farrey release on OTT. What makes Farrey a much-anticipated movie is that it is in the crime thriller genre, a popular genre for Indian film fans. Secondly, it is written and directed by Soumendra Padhi, who also wrote and helmed Netflix’s hit show, ‘Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega’.
Hindi film Farrey stars Alizeh Agnihotri in the lead role, along with with Ronit Roy, Sahil Mehta, Zeyn Shaw, Prasanna Bisht, Juhi Babbar and Shilpa Shukla in pivotal roles. The film is an official remake of the 2017 Thai film Bad Genius. Farrey is produced by Salman Khan Films and Mythri Movie Makers, along with Athena and Reel Life Productions.
Farrey premieres on ZEE5 on 5th April, 2024.
