Among the many titles announced at the D23 event, James Cameron’s much anticipated ‘Avatar 3’ has now been announced. Fans are overwhelmed but no footage or teaser were shown. The movie is titled ‘Avatar: Fire And Ash’ and looks like the makers are going to deal with another element after ‘The Way Of Water’.
The movie will have its theatrical release on the 19th of December in 2025. Zoe Saldaña and Sam Worthington along with James Cameron were present at the event and unveiled the movie.
It is said that ‘Fire And Ash’ was shot simultaneously with ‘The Way Of Water’ and it is good to have this long gap in the release of the two movies. ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ was a huge success and went on to be the worthy sequel of Avatar and it was very clear that this is going to be a franchise like no other.
‘The Way Of Water’ had the Resources Development Administration return to Pandora which caused a huge war between humans and the Na’vi. The Na’vi manage to save the aquatic creatures from the RDA but victory comes with a huge cost. The next movie will follow the events of ‘The Way Of Water’ and go on with new challenges that the Na’vi have to face.
