Homegrown streaming giant ZEE5 has just revealed the first look of its much talked about, upcoming Telugu series, ‘ATM‘. The title of the series itself is interesting enough to instantly attract the attention of digital entertainment buffs. To add to it, the ‘ATM’ first look amps up the thrill and excitement by several notches.
The first look of ‘ATM’ features its male lead VJ Sunny in an edgy avatar, a lit ‘bidi’ hanging from the lips, as he looms larger-than-life in the image. Hyderabad’s famous Charminar monument features prominently in the foreground of the picture, laying bare the fact that the series is set in the city of Hyderabad. VJ Sunny is playing Jagan in ‘ATM’, a character with grey shades.
The makers of ATM have promised to release the first clip of VJ Sunny as Jagan tomorrow morning, it being his birthday tomorrow. For those who don’t know, VJ Sunny is the very popular winner of Bigg Boss Telugu 5.

‘ATM’ is said to be a heist thriller, set in the backdrop of Hyderabad. The series is based on the true story of a unique heist that took place in the city, with two intellectuals said to be the masterminds of the crime. Besides VJ Sunny, ‘ATM’ stars Divi Vadtthya and Subbaraju in pivotal roles.
The series marks the OTT debut of a host of Telugu cinema luminaries – top Tollywood producer Dil Raju is producing the series, while director Harish Shankar is the co-producer, creator and creative head. ‘ATM’ is directed by Chandra Mohan, and its music is composed by well-known Tollywood composer, Prashanth R Vihari.
