James Mangold is directing a new movie about Bob Dylan, “A Complete Unknown,” which stars Timothée Chalamet as an expert musician. Filming is still underway!
Some pictures have been shared online from the filming in New York City, which went viral and gave us a glance at Timothée Chalamet dressed up as Dylan. He is dressed up with an old-fashioned scarf, gloves, and a thick jacket—all of these perfect for the snowy New York weather. And, of course, his companion, his guitar, is with him!
In this movie, you will witness Dylan’s journey from Minnesota to New York City, where he became a major part of the 1960s folk music scene.
Alongside Chalamet, you will get an opportunity to see Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Nick Offerman as Alan Lomax, and Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash. And don’t forget Edward Norton, who’s stepping in to play Pete Seeger after a bit of a delay in production.
