Bollywood film ‘Crew’ is one of the most awaited Hindi films in March, for various reasons. First and foremost is the fact that it brings together three of the most stellar actresses in Hindi cinema currently; namely, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon. Secondly, it comes from producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, both of whom are known for making compelling, high-concept films. For those who don’t know, ‘Crew’ premieres in theatres on 29th March, 2024.
The film was known as ‘The Crew’ when it was first announced last year. For some reason (mostly numerological ones), the makers have now named the film as ‘Crew’. This morning, producers Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network revealed the first look posters for all three lead actresses of ‘Crew’.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon look ravishing in red, in the first look posters for ‘Crew’. The trio is dressed as flight attendants, though we don’t know whether that is actually their profession in the movie or not. The synopsis of ‘Crew’ merely describes them as three hardworking women who come together by destiny, “land in some unwarranted situations and end up caught in a web of lies”.
Going by the first look posters of Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon in ‘Crew’, the film appears to be a fun crime or heist caper. The posters for the three actresses are accompanied with captions that say “Risk It”, “Fake It”, and “Steal It”. So you can guess what the plot will be about.
Besides Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon, ‘Crew’ stars Diljit Dosanjh in a key role, along with Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee. There’s also Kapil Sharma in a cameo. The movie has been written and directed by Rajesh Krishnan. He’s earlier written and directed the hilarious movie ‘Lootcase’, which premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar in the middle of the pandemic. He’s also directed the first season of TVF’s Tripling. With Rajesh Krishnan’s great repertoire, one can expect Crew to be a rollicking watch.
