The first official teaser of ‘Blurr’ is here now. The movie is directed by Ajay Bahl. The Hindi language horror is produced jointly by Zee Studios, Outsiders Films and Echelon Productions. Blurr stars Tapsee Pannu, Gulshan Devaiah in leading roles. Abhilash Thapliyal and Krutika Desai Khanare in other important roles.
‘Blurr’ is the official Hindi remake of the 2010 Spanish thriller ‘Julia’s Eyes’ directed by Guillem Morales. The original movie follows the story of its protagonist Julia who has to go through the death of her sister Sara and is haunted for this reason. Sara’s death was officially declared as a suicide but Julia does not belive that. She thinks there is something evil and sinister behind her sister’s death. Julia does the investigation when she is gradually losing her eyesight.
Tapsee will be playing Gayatri, the Indianised version of Julia in this movie. Fans are excited to see Tapsee in yet another suspense drama. She has owned the genre in films like ‘Game Over’, ‘Badla’, ‘Do Baara’ ( though it was not a success). The Zee5 original is slated to premiere on the 9th of December this year.
The teaser looks good, the music is nice and there is suspense and thrill in the treatment and execution. The cast of the movie is wonderful, but remakes are not working too well nowadays, with Drishyam 2 being an exception. Tapsee Pannu’s last film ‘Do Baara’ did not work out well for the audiences. It was directed by Anurag Kashyap and was also an official remake of a Spanish film.
We will have to wait and watch to know how good the movie is made and if it will win the hearts of the audiences or not. Watch the film on Zee5 if you are fan of thrillers and supernatural movies when it releases on 9th December.
