First Telugu Action Web Series, Madhu Babu’s Shadow Locks Its Lead

First Telugu Action Web Series, Madhu Babu's Shadow Locks Its Lead GopichandTollywood’s Happening Producer, Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainment announced his Digital Debut with AK Originals. He is making Shadow – the famous Telugu novel into a web series. The novel penned by Madhu Babu was a rage in the 90s and is considered as one of the gripping spy thrillers ever made in Tollywood.

Telugu Hero Gopichand is likely to play the titular role, sources say. The actor who had a patchy career in films will be looking to make a career out of the Digital Space. Madhu Babu himself is writing the story for the web series, to be directed by Pradeep C. They will narrate the final story to the actor very soon. It is likely to release in mid-2021.

Anil Sunkara is eager to make this web series on a huge canvass roping in some Hindi actors too. “Talks are on with some prominent faces of Hindi Cinema. Some of them are very excited. We will start with the first season of ten episodes. The continuation will depend on the success of the initial season,” a source in the know told us. Anil Sunkara has some big film projects in his kitty with stars like Chiranjeevi, Akhil Akkineni, and Sharwanand.
