Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 highly anticipated is expected to hit the theaters sooner than planned. The film is a follow-up to the 2023 horror film Five Nights at Freddy’s, which was based on the well-liked horror video game series founded by Scott Cawthon. The film, starring Josh Hutchinson, tells the story of a security guard at a pizza who finds out that the mascots are deadly children out for revenge.

Film & Television Industry Alliance reports that the sequel’s filming is scheduled to start in New Orleans on July 1, 2024. Although there are currently no specifics available about the sequel, Josh Hutchinson has disclosed that the story is being developed and he is excited to be back on the set. It is almost certain that Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will be released in theaters by 2025 if production does start by July 2024.
