Just three days remain until the release of Kalki 2898 AD. The movie is naturally going to be one of the biggest films of the year with stars ranging from multiple film industries and content that appeals to the entire India.
Earlier we talked about how the makers are looking extremely lazy about the promotion of the film. Kalki 2898 AD needed far more promotions and the makers accelerated it only after the offline pre-release event that gave us content to be talked about. Still, we feel that the movie is very centred around the Telugu-speaking belts and there is a massive potential lying untapped for Kalki 2898 AD.
Regardless, what is the update?
New shows will be added to the film. It is a very typical Rajinikanth phenomenon but Kalki 2898 AD will be enjoying this privilege of 5:30 AM shows. But it is all fine.
The problem is that of ticket prices. For single screens, there will be an inflation of 70₹ and for multiplex, the ticket prices will see an increase as high as ₹100 per ticket. This is something very concerning for people as everyone knows that the film will be streaming on OTT. So the makers need to play smart and control the ticket prices for maximum footfall.
