Four Fan Theories You Need To Know Before You Watch Money Heist S5

The madness for Money Heist is getting unreal and we can totally assess that with fans starting a countdown for that very show. Netflix’s Money Heist is, without doubt, one of its most successful Spanish productions. This show has taken the world by storm, and now everyone is dancing to the tunes of “Bella Ciao”, made famous by the gang of robbers. Money Heist is returning for its absolute last season and this time it will be divided into two parts. The Volume 1 release is literally now days away as it will finally drop on the 3rd of September.

The series has some best plots, storylines, twists and everything and most of them remain unanswered by the end of the last episode in Season 4 and fans are really hoping that they see some answers at least with this season. Given the questions, it is obvious that a show like “Money Heist” will have its own sets of fan theories. The fan sites are always filled with those, but we have 4 most wondered and put forward fan theories about the show.

Professor Will Be Left Alone

Now, the Professor is an essential character in the show and one of the most crucial parts of the heist. He is the mastermind behind everything, but here’s a thing about him. The reason Professor has been able to bring forward not one but two mega heists was because of the inspiration he had from his father and later his brother. But sadly, the only reason he was able to go ahead with it was because they were killed and he was left alone. In many interviews, Álvaro Morte and the creators have spoken at length about how the Professor’s loneliness has been a crucial part of his behavior and his plans, and because they feel loneliness is in fact the perfect place. Keeping that in mind, there are fan theories that Professor might now also lose Lisbon, who has been his love interest in the past seasons, finally leaving him alone with no one to call him his own. He was once very close to losing Lisbon when she was caught but she was kept alive and has now managed to get back to the team. It will be interesting to see if that becomes the reality.

Alicia Sierra Will Join The Team

The end of Season 4 saw Alicia Sierra losing her mind completely with the heist and finally she was let off from her duty. Even then, she stuck to the case and figured out quite quickly about where this Professor was sitting and sending directions. It didn’t take her a long time at all. It just needed her focus and after some brainstorming, she was able to crack it, she was able to finally find the professor and held him at gunpoint. But, here’s the thing: The Professor is way smarter than this, if his plans get so easily cracked down by Alicia, he might go ahead with a technique of his that has helped him attain Lisbon once, and this is “manipulation”. When he comes to situations like this, he has easily manipulated his way out of it, not only saving him but saving his entire team of robbers. Seeing how Alicia’s mind works, the Professor might do this once again and maybe we might see Alicia in the team soon.

Alicia Sierra-Tatiana Connection

Now, this is one fan theory that hasn’t left people’s minds from the moment they have witnessed the similarities. The similarity between Alicia Sierra and Berlin’s long-lost fiance Tatiana whom we saw in Season 4. Many fan theories are out there that Alicia might be Tatiana’s sister, who is out here after this group to take revenge for her sister. But, one other strong fan theory is there, that Tatiana and Alicia Sierra are not different but are the same person. The biggest giveaway is her hair, both are ginger heads and the way she cracks their plans way before they execute. The reason? If Tatiana is actually Alicia Sierra, she might be knowing about the plans because Berlin has apparently told her about these. Since this heist was actually Berlin’s dream, if Tatiana and Alicia are the same people, she might definitely hold some grudges against the team and the Professor for Berlin’s death. But it still isn’t clear and we can’t base this just by simply using these points. But again, this might actually be a possibility.

Tokyo Is The Last One To Survive

Well, this one isn’t new. This one has prevailed ever since Season 1. This is one of the strongest and the most long-lasting fan theories. Tokyo, as we all know, is the main narrator of the story. She has narrated every bit of the series with great finesse and not to mention, the way she has narrated. She has always given a heads up to the audience that something massive is going down and since she is always the one narrating the storyline, fans have come to a belief that Tokyo might be the last one to survive and that are teammates are killed including the Professor and given that they pulled off such heists, she might be in a cell recalling these memories or is giving an interview of some sorts to someone who might be writing about the group. One more peculiarity is that she has never narrated the storylines about her members in their private times because as it is obvious she has no idea about it. This only comes up as a part of the story. Now, if this is true or not, one has to wait till the end to actually witness and see why Tokyo is the only narrator in the show.
