The Bengali film industry is doing great with female centric roles now and every now and then movies with female leads are being announced. After ‘Binodini’, a new movie with female leads has been announced, and it will be a multistarrer.
The title of the movie is ‘O Mon Bhromon’ and the plot has not been disclosed yet. It will be having Swastika Mukherjee, Nusrat Jahan, Shrabanti Chatterjee together. It will also have actors like Ananya Bandyopadhyay, Arian Bhoumik, June Malia, Kamaleshwar Bhoumik etc in important roles. This is the first time these actresses are working together. It has been so long in the industry but neither Swastika has worked with Nusrat before nor Nusrat with Shrabanti. So, naturally fans are excited.
From the rumours it is understood that the movie will be about three long lost friends who meet each other after a long interval and go on to meet a fourth friend of their group. The movie is probably going to be a travel movie with a tinge of drama which will remind us of ‘3 Idiots’, we are very near to having a female starrer ‘3 Idiots’ in Bengali. ‘O Mon Bhromon’ will be directed by filmmaker Rajarshi Dey who has directed some popular commercial flicks in the industry.
