Weekend is just around the corner and OTTs are going to have new Indian releases this Friday once again. Although just like last week there’s not much to look forward to this week as well.
Let’s start with the most awaited title of this week and although it’s not as exciting still it’s the best there is. We are talking about ‘Test’ on Netflix starring R. Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth in lead roles. Despite high anticipations in the beginning the film has lost much of its steam now.
SonyLIV is bringing the second season of its original series ‘Chamak’ this Friday. Despite a decent season 1, the platform does not seem to have any faith in this new season and barely does anyone even notice its arrival.
As for Jio Hotstar we have two titles coming up this Friday. First is a Telugu mystery thriller drama ‘Touch Me Not’ which hasn’t garnered any attention yet and second is Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor led ‘Love Today’ remake ‘Loveyapa’ arriving on the platform after its theatrical run.
There’s also ‘Home Town’, an original series from Aha Video coming this Friday. The show is set in a small town in Telangana where a middle class father wishes to send his carefree son to the US.
