The third instalment of the ‘Fukrey’ film series ‘Fukrey 3’ was released in theatres on 28th September 2023. The comedy drama movie, backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production company Excel, had grossed over an impressive Rs. 127 crores at the box office globally.
And for those of you who had missed watching the film in theatres, let us inform you that ‘Fukrey 3’ has now started streaming on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. However, the film is currently available only on a rental / PPV basis at a rental cost of Rs.349/- on the streaming service. Yes, the rental cost is a bit on the higher side but that’s invariably been the case with popular Indian films being available on a rental basis.
‘Fukrey 3’ follows the amusing misadventures of three friends and ‘fukreys’ Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), and Lali (Manjot Singh). The film’s basic plot revolves around an election contest between Bholi (Richa Chadha) and her unlikely opponent Choocha. To prevent the people’s favorite Choocha from winning the election, the cunning Bholi chalks out an intricate plan, thereby leading to a hilarious turn of unexpected events. The movie also features Pankaj Tripathi in the role of Panditji.
