The trailer for FX’s upcoming comedy drama series ‘English Teacher’ is here and this one’s all about Texas High School teacher and his struggle with adjusting in the new environment. Created by Brian Jordan Alvarez (‘Will & Grace’, ‘Jane The Virgin’, ‘The Gay and Wonderous Life of Caleb Gallo’) who also stars in the lead role, ‘English Teacher’ will premiere soon only on Disney+ Hotstar.
The trailer shows how the new English teacher Evan Marquez (Brian Jordan Alvarez) is trying to fit in the school as students and colleagues find him and his ways a little unusual. He often find himself at the intersection of professional, political and personal aspects of working at a high school.
In addition to Alvarez, ‘English Teacher’ also stars Stephanie Koenig (‘The Gay and Wonderous Life of Caleb Gallo’, ‘The Flight Attendant’), Enrico Colantoni (‘Just Shoot Me!’, ‘Oerson of Interest’), Sean Patton and Carmen Christopher in main roles. Other recurring stars include Jordan Firstman and Langston Kerman.
