Zee Studios has dropped the trailer for the upcoming film ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ and Sunny Devil’s back in a full massy action mode. ‘Gadar 2’ is the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster film ‘Gadar’ and is helmed by Anil Sharma, who had also directed the first instalment. The film will release in theatres on 11th August, 2023.
‘Gadar 2’ trailer begins with giving you a nostalgia of the original ‘Gadar’ as Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel romance each other even after so many years. Soon things take a dramatic turn when their grown up son is seen captured and tortured in Pakistan.
Tara Singh then marches on to Pakistan to rescue his son and take revenge from all those who tortured him there. What follows is full action packed sequences one after the other with Sunny Deol in an intense avatar.
‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ is a period action drama film and will have Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma retuning to reprise their roles. Other cast members include Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Manish Wadhwa, Sajjad Delafrooz, Gaurav Chopra, Rohit Choudhary and Dolly Bindra among others.
Written by Shaktiman, ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ is directed by Anil Sharma who has also produced the film under his Anil Sharma Productions banner alongside MM Moviez and Zee Studios. Mithoon has composed music for the film with lyrics from Sayeed Quadri. ‘Gadar 2’ will stream on Zee5 post theatrical run.
‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ will release worldwide in cinemas on 11th August, 2023.
