‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel ‘House Of The Dragon’ Release Production Details!!’

The ‘Game of Thrones’ official social media accounts (on twitter) has announced that the prequel series is set to go into production next year, the year 2021. The series was announced last year, but unfortunately it took too much time for the series writers to align the fictional timeline within the ‘Game of Thrones’ world. The series titled ‘House of the Dragon’ is expected to be up and running on the HBO channel and streaming on HBOMax (once the first season is completed and ready to air).

The new web series is expected to be based on George R.R. Martin’s 2018 prequel book, ‘Fire and Blood’. The prequel series will show the Targaryens, the House of Dragons who are at the height of their powers with more than 15 dragons attached to the family (Keep in mind, we have only seen three dragons on ‘Game of Thrones’).

Concepts regarding the dragons have been released along with the production year date announcement for ‘House of the Dragon’. While previously, we have only seen three dragons ( as we mentioned before), which belonged to Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), this time we have been given a concept drawing of a red dragon, both a full length as well as a facial close-up (which is intimidating).

Most of the main characters for ‘House of the Dragon’ have been cast, with Paddy Considine expected to portray the lead role of King Viserys Targaryen. Beyond that nothing much has been available for the public so far. The show is expected to be set 100 years before Robert’s Rebellion and the time when Viserys conquered the whole continent of Westeros and united them all under one banner.
