The teaser for Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ is out and it’s all about the difference in the school of thoughts Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse believed in individually. ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ will release in cinemas on 26th January, 2023.
‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ teaser begins with an off screen narrator explaining how the film will let both Gandhi and Godse, who have been accused of many things and while the former was assassinated and the latter silenced, to tell their perspectives.
What follows is glimpse of the war of ideologies between the two alongside the horrific scenes of public outrage during the times. The teaser also shows how Gandhi believed in abandoning all sort of violence for the sake of humanity. On the other hand, Godse thinks Gandhi resorts to mental violence with his fast unto death policy.
‘Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh’ is a historical drama film that highlights one of the biggest war of ideologies in Indian history. Starring Deepak Antani, Chinmay Mandlekar and Tanisha Santoshi in lead roles, ‘Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh’ is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi who has also written the film alongside Asghar Wajahat.
A. R. Rahman has composed music for the film with sound design by Resul Pookutty. Rishi Punjabi has done the cinematography for ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ with editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
A PVR Pictures release, ‘Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh’ is produced by Manila Santoshi under Santoshi Productions banner. ‘Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh’ will release in cinema on 26th January, 2023.
