Sneha Khanwalkar, who is well-known for making quirky music, will be responsible for the music of Kathmandu Connection, the upcoming thriller web series for SonyLIV.
Khanwalkar has scored earlier for films such as Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, and Gangs of Wasseypur. She had been nominated in Best Music Director category at the 58th Filmfare Awards for Gangs of Wasseypur and she was the second woman to receive a nomination in this category in 28 years after Usha Khanna.
Now adding a talented music director like Sneha Khanwalkar will only be fantastic for Kathmandu Connection, as the trailer of the same already created buzz due to its gripping premises.
As per the reports, Sneha Khanwalkar said, “It’s a different experience to compose music for a thriller. For such a fast-paced story like Kathmandu Connection, the music had to be in resonance with the plot of the show yet impactful and melodious. Syaah reflects the myriad complexities the characters encounter in the series and I hope it manages to strike a chord with the viewers upon its launch on SonyLIV.”
The audiences are extremely hopeful concerning the new web series and as Sneha composes the music for Kathmandu Connection; it is adding extra spices to the mix.
Sneha has reportedly created the show’s title track – Syaah which is sung by Rajan Batra, Sunetra Banerjee and Shrikant Krishna. This song will compliment the thrilling narrative of Kathmandu Connection and will reverberate in everyone’s ear for a long time, for sure.
Kathmandu Connection is directed by Sachin Pathak and the cast includes Amit Sial, Gopal Datt, Aksha Pardasany and others. The series, revolving cross-border investigation involving India-Nepal, is going live on 23rd April 2021, only on SonyLIV and we can wait for this new mystery to unfold!.
