Gareth Edwards Will Be Directing The New Jurassic World Film

Jurassic World is practically desperate to release the new Jurassic World Film and they just got a new director. Now, as with such tight schedules, it does look like Universal is treating it as a top-priority project and that is prominent with the recent steps.

The dinosaurs are ready and Gareth Edwards will be directing them.

Steven Spielberg will already be associated, though not a maker but a producer, still his association makes the expectations even higher, and on paper, this is definitely the biggest project of Edward’s life.

Along with legendary Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Patrick Crowley, along with David Leitch and Kelly McCormick from 87North, will produce the film. David Koepp, the original screenwriter for “Jurassic Park” and “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” will write the script.

Talking about the right release, Universal scheduled it for July 2, 2025, though a very hectic schedule, it is destined to be a success if the makers don’t fumble it massively.

Also, Edwards does look like a good fit as he has prior experience when it comes to working with creatures, showcasing his craft in 2014 Godzilla and 2010 Monsters. Even being associated with Star Wars, Edwards definitely brings a big spark with his arrival in the franchise.
